Mediterranean restaurant launches debut site in Chelsea

A new restaurant specialising in Mediterranean cuisine has launched its debut site in the heart of Chelsea.

Leisure property agency Shelley Sandzer has announced the launch of new eatery Wild Tavern at 2 Elystan Street.

Founded by George Bukhov-Weinstein and Ilya Demichev, the restaurant will serve a range of dishes inspired by coastal areas of Italy, Spain, and France.

Comprising 3,600 sq ft of dining and kitchen space, the tavern-style concept has been designed by architecture firm Archer Humphryes, and features a central fireplace, open kitchen, and dedicated wine room.

Commenting on the launch, George Bukhov, co-founder of Wild Tavern, said: “We love Chelsea and are excited to become a part of its local community.

“We are very grateful to Shelley Sandzer, who we worked with in the past securing great sites for Goodman Steakhouse and Burger & Lobster. It’s a great property full of natural light and we believe it will become a new locals’ favourite.”
