Gateley Legal hires new Residential Development partner
The Guildford office of Gateley Legal has appointed James Lawrence as a partner in its Residential Development team.
James joins from Surrey-headquartered Mundays LLP, where he worked from 2004 and helped establish the London office in June 2015.
On joining Gateley Legal, James said: “It’s an exciting time to be joining the business in Guildford, as we look to further grow the Residential Development team.
“What attracted me to Gateley Legal is the opportunity to provide a value-added service to clients. The business encompasses more than just legal services, as Gateley’s other companies include specialist services for advice on utilities, land assembly and infrastructure development.”
Tony Inkin, managing partner and head of Gateley Legal’s Guildford office commented: “I’m pleased to have James on board. His skills and expertise will prove invaluable as we look to further growth and development in 2020.
“The Guildford office has grown significantly over the past couple of years, with our staff count here at almost a hundred and the Residential Development team accounting for almost 300 Gateley Legal staff nationally.”
Gateley Legal boasts the biggest Residential Development team in the UK, acting for 18 of the top 20 housebuilders and all the top ten.
