Teesside office hits maximum capacity as local digital industry booms
An office space in Middlesbrough is set to be fully occupied after experiencing an influx of digital businesses.
Boho 5, part of the town’s Boho Zone digital campus, has welcomed 12 new companies over the past year, with the building’s final units to be occupied in the coming weeks.
The news follows the unveiling of plans for 10,000 sq ft modular office space Boho 8 earlier this year, part of the £45m first phase of expansion plans for the Boho Zone.
One of the newest tenants in Boho 5 is video game software specialist Radical Forge. Bruce Slater from Radical Forge commented: “With the rapid rate that digital companies in the Boho Zone are growing at, the Boho 8 expansion is vital to keep companies and staff in the area.
“Radical Forge is not the only company that’s growing and needs the space to expand.
“Boho 5 has a great mix of companies in the building but now lacks expansion space for business that are seeing growth.”
