London venture capital firms set for boost with newly launched programme

A new venture capital education programme has been launched to support venture capital firms and investors in London.

Private investor network QVentures has partnered with London Business School (LBS) to launch Best Practices for Professional Investors in Venture Capital.

Taught by academics from LBS and industry specialist, the four-day course will aim to address venture capital in a holistic way, looking at macro and micro factors that drive strategy and investment decisions, covering topics such as origination, due diligence, deal structuring, portfolio management and term sheet negotiation.

Julian Birkinshaw, deputy dean of Executive Education at LBS commented: “We are proud of the collaboration with QVentures to bring more education to the Venture Capital industry.

“The programme builds on some of the best thinking in this field, invites industry experts and speakers to share insights and challenges, and will help participants create lasting business impact back in the workplace.”
