Roger Young, Knight Frank

Knight Frank has the hire of Roger Young as a partner.

Working alongside Jeremey Tham who heads up the Knight Frank team, Roger will support the further expansion of the firm’s bank lending, valuation and advisory capabilities.

Roger joins from Cushman & Wakefield, where he had been an International Partner for nine years.

**Jerry Buhlmann, Croud **

Global digital marketing agency Croud has appointed Jerry Buhlmann as non-executive chairman.

Jerry is the former CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network, and will now focus on supporting the management and board of Croud in accelerating the agency’s global growth.

Kieran Fowler, Waterstons

National business and IT consultancy Waterstons has announced the appointment of Kieran Fowler as senior information security consultant.

Kieran, who is a former detective constable at the Metropolitan Police specialising in cyber-crime and fraud, will work closely with clients across the UK and internationally to design and implement bespoke security solutions.

Kieran said: “I’m delighted to join Waterstons and use my experience of working on the front line of cyber-crime to help clients develop long term security resilience.

“50 per cent of all crime is cyber-crime. It’s crucial for businesses, especially young SME’s, to understand the risks and put appropriate measures in place to protect their company. Sometimes it can be as simple as implementing the right training for employees.

“I’m looking forward to connecting with businesses across the UK and beyond, and taking them on a journey towards robust cyber security.”

Jon Perkins, Zen

Zen Internet, the telecommunications and technology service provider, has appointed Jon Perkins as its new strategy director.

Jon, who previously spent four years at TalkTalk, will be responsible for strategy, marketing and product, and will also sit on Zen’s executive committee.

Deb Kilvington, MAC Construction

Construction consultant MAC has announced the appointment of new associate director Deb Kilvington, who will join the firm’s safety, health & environment department (SHE).

Bringing with her more than 30 years of experience of working in SHE, as well as the Leadership and Business Management arena in several sectors, Deb will form part of the company’s strategic division helping develop its current offering to clients and move into new areas of consulting.

Deb joins the team bringing ten years of experience as a consultation specialist, which has seen a consolidation of her extensive skill set.

Mark Raban and Cameron Wade, Lookers

Lookers motor retail and aftersales service group, has appointed Mark Raban as CEO and Cameron Wade as COO and director.

Mark joined the Board in July 2019 as Chief Financial Officer. He has nearly 30 years of multi-channel retailing experience and before joining the Group was CFO at Marshall Motor Holdings PLC. His previous experience includes being Finance Director of Inchcape Retail and Selfridges Retail.

Cameron joined Lookers in December 2016 as franchise director of the Group’s Audi Division. His previous roles include commercial director and managing director at Peter Vardy.

TrustedHousesitters – the house and pet-sitting platform – has appointed Mathew Prior as its new CEO.

Mathew brings with him two decades of expertise in leading digitally-focused global leisure brands including Crystal Ski, Le Boat, Sunsail and The Moorings.
