US consultancy strengthens European foothold with London office
A strategic management healthcare consultancy with offices across the US has opened its new European office in London.
Putnam Associates, which is based in Boston, has launched its new base in Chiswick as part of its European expansion.
Founded in 1988, Putnam provides strategy consulting services to biopharmaceutical, diagnostics and medical device clients.
The opening of the London office will create a number of new jobs, as well as bolstering the firm’s European presence.
Putnam CEO Remco op den Kelder commented: “We became part of a leading global life science services company (UDG Healthcare) in early 2019 and this created a number of opportunities for Putnam to leverage its infrastructure and resources and grow around the world.
“Our London office gives us a foothold in Europe and is part of a strategy to increase our global footprint and offer more localised support to our clientds.
“It will also enable us to add to our talented teams as we look to recruit at every level, from senior leaders and experienced management consultants to graduates looking to start a career in the sector.”
