New £2.5m mini golf concept in Leeds creates 30 jobs
A new mini golf leisure concept has launched in West Yorkshire following a multi-million pound investment by Hollywood Bowl Group.
The £2.5m Puttstars complex opened its doors last week at Thorpe Park in Leeds, offering three 9-hole mini golf courses.
In addition to the courses, the two-storey venue also comprises a bar and diner alongside an amusement arcade.
The opening of the centre has created 30 new jobs from customer service to management positions.
Stephen Burns, CEO of Hollywood Bowl Group, commented: “We are thrilled to be launching a new leisure brand into the market and opening the UK’s first Puttstars venue in Thorpe Park.
“Puttstars is a unique mini golf gaming experience for families and groups of friends to enjoy and we can’t wait to welcome the first new customers to our Leeds venue and then to our York and Rochdale centres which will open in the coming months.”
