£1.6m Wetherby business park scheme creates 30 new jobs
A raft of new jobs have been created in a North Yorkshire business park as the scheme reaches full occupancy.
Harrogate-based developer Marrtree has announced that its business park next to Thorp Arch Estate near Wetherby is now fully let.
Totalling 20,000 sq ft, the £1.6m development comprises a range of 2,000 to 4,000 sq ft units, all of which are now let to seven businesses, including retail display specialist Blacks Visual and retro vehicle firm Chasing Cars.
The new businesses have brought a total of 30 new jobs to the park, just 12 months after its completion.
Marrtree director William Marshall commented: “We are proud to be the only privately owned developer to have constructed a new business park at Thorp Arch. As a developer we are all about creating high quality 21st century workspaces that enable our tenant businesses to thrive.
“Thorp Arch’s proximity to the A1(M) motorway makes it a brilliant location and we were not surprised to have let all seven units within 12 months of completion.”
