Toby Rogan-Lyons and Irfan Ahmed, Lichfields

Planning and development consultants Lichfields has recruited two lighting experts to head up its new Neighbourly Matters team.

Toby Rogan-Lyons, who joins from real estate consultancy GL Hearn, has been appointed director of the Neighbourly Matters team.

He has been joined by associate director Irfan Ahmed, who brings over 10 years experience in the practical delivery of natural lighting studies.

Toby, a design engineer with a diploma in practical surveying has been undertaking detailed natural lighting studies for over 14 years.

He said: “As our towns and cities become more and more dense, buildings are having greater impacts on each other.

“Traditionally, the benefits to be gained from reducing energy consumption were at the heart of lighting considerations, but local authorities are increasingly taking a more holistic approach.

“Recent studies show that natural lighting can makes a difference with regards to anti-social behaviour and the physical and mental well-being of occupants.

“Research has shown, not allowing for adequate natural light can have significant effects on mental health, emotional wellbeing and lead to increased crime in an area.

“Lichfields has recognised the growing importance Planning Authorities are placing on natural lighting as part of the planning process.

“Lichfields is unique in this regard; most Neighbourly Matters teams are standalone consultancies or are embedded in building surveying companies, not planning offices.”

Lisa Roscoe, isobel

Independent creative agency isobel has appointed Lisa Roscoe to the role of business director – ten years after completing an account management internship at the agency.

Following her time at isobel Lisa left to join Leo Burnett where she became an account director. She then moved to Aesop before re-joining isobel.

Paul Houlding, CEO of isobel commented: “Lisa showed fantastic potential 10 years ago but she was lured by a big global agency in Leo Burnett.

“We’ve kept in touch and it’s brilliant to have her back.

“It’s our first hire in this new WFH environment and we have video welcome drinks scheduled for later this week.”

**Ashraf M. Fahmy, CallisonRTKL **

CallisonRTKL has announced that Ashraf M. Fahmy has joined the practice as chief financial officer (CFO).

As well as leading finance and accounting, he will serve as a member of the strategic mergers and acquisitions team to bolster the breadth and strength of the firm in the marketplace.

Francesco Fulcoli, TransferGo

TransferGo has announced the hire of Francesco Fulcoli as its new chief compliance officer.

With over 15 years’ experience in the area, Francesco specialises in building compliance technology frameworks, establishing standards and implementing procedures across both fintech and regtech.

He joins TransferGo from IFX Payments where he was interim head of compliance and led the revamp of its AML Compliance and Compliance Technology function.

Zara Erismann, LiveRamp

LiveRamp has announced the appointment of Zara Erismann as managing director for EU Publishers.

Zara brings over fifteen years of experience in the technology sector, and most recently built the publisher base across Europe with her former company Index Exchange.

Zara’s new role, located at the London office, will be working closely with publishers, as well as privacy and publisher implementation teams to scale LiveRamp’s publisher network.

She joins LiveRamp from Index Exchange, where she built the publisher base for companies across Europe.
