North East production company launches online events venture
A North East audio-visual specialist has launched a sister company to meet a growing demand for online conferences and events during the COVID-19 crisis.
Big Purple Productions, which is based in Gateshead, has launched new venture Big Purple Capture to capitalise on the increased need for virtual services as a result of the ongoing pandemic and subsequent lockdown.
The newly-formed company is offering video production, event filming and live streaming, with features such as green screens, remote presenters, pre-recorded videos and live Q&A sessions.
Sam Gordon, director at both companies, commented: “The spread of COVID-19 has caused huge problems for event organisers, which is why we decided to use our expertise to come up with a range of solutions so that events don’t need to be postponed or cancelled – they can be done virtually.”
“We can offer event broadcasting with remote presenters, live and pre-record video and video on demand.
“We are very proud of the fact that we are always thought of as industry leaders and we are hoping that with the launch of Big Purple Capture we will be proving that again.”
