Just Williams supports SMEs to Rise above challenges of Covid-19

Sales solutions specialist Just Williams has launched a tailored programme designed to offer small and medium businesses vital support in overcoming the many challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Stockton-based consultancy – currently marking its fifth anniversary – has created The Rise Programme with the aim of reviving businesses and ensuring they emerge from the current crisis with greater resilience and able to take advantage of future opportunities.

Rise is a blended sales-marketing strategy specifically designed for those smaller companies trading for three years or less which can adapt to new ways of working to secure stability or growth.

Each business or organisation joining the three-month programme undergoes an independent assessment to create a sustainable strategy that can be worked independently by the business, or in tandem with the Just Williams team.

This may include: a stringent assessment of the materials and sales processes, competitor analysis; a review of a business’ narrative and brand personality to create an unique action plan to raise profile and market presence and impact, and an assessment of current sales strategy to safeguard the current pipeline of work or support future growth plans.

Rise is a departure from Just Williams’ usual practice of working with clients over a 12-month period to deliver sales solutions by identifying areas of potential growth and generating leads, with its blended team working in partnership with existing in-house sales teams or key decision makers.

Jessica Williams, founder and managing director of Just Williams, said: “The idea developed from a discussion between our staff about the wide-ranging effects that Covid-19 is having on small and medium-sized businesses.

“We then came up with The Rise Programme, which is a unique response to a unique situation. However, it is not just about supporting SMEs through this particularly challenging period but ensuring that they emerge stronger and more resilient with a clear vision for the future and a strategy in place that allows them to grow and prosper.

“What many businesses lack is a clear end goal and the steps required to achieve it. This programme delivers just that and provides a business with the tools and strategy to drive their vision forward.”

Head of Delivery, Emma Storey, said; “Rise is all about supporting each other. We can offer a real mix of skills and experience to companies who have been hardest hit, so although we can’t supply vital PPE or essential items; what we might be able to do is ensure some companies not only see out this pandemic but thrive too”.
