Sheffield industrial estate set for ‘extensive’ upgrade
A full refurbishment is underway on an industrial estate in South Yorkshire.
Parkway Link in Sheffield is currently ongoing an ‘extensive’ upgrade as part of owner Mileway’s plans to modernise the estate.
The refurbishment will upgrade four of the nine units at the park to provide modern industrial warehouse accommodation, ideal for industrial, warehouse and trade use.
The firm has appointed Knight Frank to market the new units, which are situated in the park off Sheffield Parkway,
Rebecca Schofield, head of the Yorkshire industrial team at Knight Frank, commented: “During the last few years we have seen an increasing number of landlords invest in upgrading commercial estates to a high standard to fulfil the ongoing requirements for industrial property within the region.
“The extensive refurbishment includes overclad roofs, new clad elevations, full internal decoration with new LED lighting and refurbished offices and WCs.
“There is a shortage of industrial and warehouse units of this size across the region and upon completion the units will be finished to a high standard and we anticipate good levels of interest especially given the location.”
