Teesside tech staffing firm to create jobs following management buyout
A North East specialist engineering and technical staffing company is set for expansion following a management buyout by two of its senior team.
Teesside-based Techconsult UK has been acquired by managing director Steve Guest and finance director Sarah Taylor for an undisclosed sum.
Originally part of Norwegian-company Techconsult Norway, the firm is based at petrochemical and process hub Wilton International.
The new owners have unveiled plans to implement a three-year growth strategy - which will include job creation and expanded service - with the support of North East-based business advisor Gary Lumby and the team at Ryecroft Glenton Corporate Finance (RGCF).
Steve Guest, managing director of Techconsult UK, commented: “Completing the management buyout creates a great opportunity to further grow our business and increase the scale of operations in our key sectors.
“We are very proud of the reputation we have built across UK industry, which will provide a springboard to the next stage of development of the business and include the creation of additional employment and new opportunities for our candidates and clients.”
