London tech SME goes global with Caribbean government contracts
A London-based tech firm is set to expand its international footprint with two new government projects based in the Caribbean.
Pathfinder has secured two digital transformation projects for the Office of Tax Commission and Ministry of Finance in the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda.
Headed up by founder Shweta Jha, Pathfinder is an enterprise platform powered by an AI computing engine, offering data visualisation and an application suite for a range of industries.
The firm won a competitive tender process for the contracts, which saw them up against one of the ‘Big 4’ industry competitors. The projects will focus on accelerated digital transformation for web-based tax filing, payment and revenue analysis, as well as macroeconomic modelling for pandemic issues such as COVID-19.
Shweta Jha, founder of Pathfinder, commented: “This is a challenging but hugely stimulating time to be in business among the midst of the global pandemic.
“We are proud of undertaking these transformational projects for Bermuda which will make a real-world difference in how the territory reacts and responds economically to pandemics including COVID-19.”
Pathfinder was closely supported in securing the contracts by Newable, the London-based provider of money, advice and space to SMEs.
Shweta added: “Newable’s innovation team has been invaluable in supporting us and unlocking access to the network of support that is available to SMEs.
“We look forward to further rolling out our platform for a range of industries and applications.”
