Sustainably focused workspace launches in East London
A new sustainably focused office development in East London has been unveiled.
Storey, the flexible workspace arm of real estate specialist British Land, has officially unveiled 6 Orsman Road in Haggerston, located on the banks of Regent’s Canal.
Covering five floors, the 34,000 sq ft building was designed by local architectural practice Waugh Thistleton Architects, incorporating sustainable materials and using a hybrid structure allowing for future repurposing.
In addition to the office space, the building will feature onsite amenities such as private and shared rooftop terraces, cycling and shower facilities.
Storey has also partnered with the Shoreditch Trust’s social enterprise training Restaurant Waterhouse, who will run the café on the ground floor.
Situated between the districts of Shoreditch, Hoxton and Dalston, it is anticipated that the flexible workspace will appeal to creative businesses in the area.
