Yorkshire housebuilder reveals plans for newly acquired Doncaster reservoir site

A Yorkshire construction group has announced the acquisition of a new site which it aims to be the base for a residential development.

Conroy Brook, based in Holmfirth, has bought the former Warmsworth Reservoir site in Doncaster from Keyland Developments for an undisclosed amount.

The company plans to use the site to create a residential development of up to 23 homes under its Ben Bailey brand.

Peter Garrett, managing director of Keyland Developments, commented; “We are pleased to continue our successful relationship with Conroy Brook with the sale of the Warmsworth site.

“The former covered reservoir has been disused for a number of years now and to know that another redundant site is being transformed and brought back into use as a much-needed residential development is an excellent outcome.”

Richard Conroy, chief executive of Conroy Brook, added: “Our Warmsworth development follows on from the success of HighFields in Clowne, which was the first development for our Ben Bailey brand since its relaunch by parent company Conroy Brook.

“Having had Clowne become such a great success in North Derbyshire, we are very much looking forward to seeing that same standard of outstanding workmanship brought to South Yorkshire.”
