County Durham firm leads electric vehicle revolution with national recruitment drive
A North East-based electric vehicle charging specialist is set to expand across the country with a new growth drive.
Elmtronics, which is headquartered in County Durham, is recruiting for new roles nationwide following industry growth.
The firm, which specialises in the design, installation and maintenance of electric vehicle charging points, works with a range of councils, NHS Trusts and private companies across the UK.
With the increasing popularity of electric vehicles as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional transport, the firm is hiring new roles both in the North East and across the country to support its expansion strategy.
Dan Martin, founder and managing director of Elmtronics, explained: “We have seen a huge rise in demand for our services and are now looking to bring more talent into the business to help us achieve our ambitious growth targets.
We’re looking for dynamic people who want to be part of an industry that is rapidly growing.
“Electric vehicles are to play a huge part in the global move towards more sustainable transport. They will become ever more prominent within cities and towns in which journeys can be planned with ease and charging infrastructure is more readily available.”
