Sustainable tech startup set for North American expansion with Seedrs fundraise
A tech firm specialising in reducing computer energy wastage is set to launch a new crowdfunding campaign to accelerate its international expansion plans.
Comino has announced plans to launch a fundraise on investment platform Seedrs in order to fund its expansion in the US and Canada.
Established in 2017, Comino’s technology was created in a bid to improve sustainability and tackle the increasing heat and energy wastage generated from standard computers.
As well as expanding into North American markets, the funding from the campaign will be used to build the firm’s sales and marketing teams and establish new distribution channels.
Evgeny Vlasov, CEO of Comino, commented: “Developing a big manufacturing company is a large, but exciting challenge for us. After participating in various international events and receiving such great reviews on our products, we now need to expand in order to cover demand - increasing our margin by producing more devices.
“In order to enter markets such as the USA we need to build international support, sales and distribution channels, rent stores, and build up stock so that we’re able to send devices to partners and reviewers.
“The Seedrs platform gives us a fantastic marketing opportunity and the basis to expand our business in the right way.”
