North East business development company creates new jobs after 'successful' lockdown period

A North East business development firm has announced that it will be creating new jobs over the next few months.

Durhamlane, which is based in Wallsend, is planning to create 10 jobs after a ‘successful’ lockdown period.

The company generated more than £250k higher revenue than in the same period last year, as well as winning 23 new clients.

Richard Lane, durhamlane’s CEO, commented: “We’re very proud of our people and the success we’ve all been able to achieve for our customers while working remotely.

“By sticking closely to our tried and tested processes, our teams have been able to continue generating high-quality, qualified opportunities for our clients despite the uncertain economy.”

Lee Durham, chief revenue officer, added: “The key to continued success, for us, has been agility.

“By quickly establishing remote working capabilities and adapting our services to suit the new environment, we’ve found ourselves leading the charge in our industry rather than falling behind.”
