North East insurance broker completes refinancing to support growth plans
A North East insurance broker has announced that it has completed a refinance transaction with an alternative lender.
Todd & Cue, based in Gateshead, has secured the support from ThinCats to help advance its growth plans.
The company specialises in the placement of insurance programmes for a wide spectrum of clients including public companies, recognised professional practices, financial institutions, private companies, partnerships and sole traders.
Mark Armstrong, managing director of Todd & Cue, commented: “Both Williams Ali and ThinCats have, from the outset, sought to understand our business, plans and goals and have been hugely pro-active in developing a package which will assist us in delivering these plans over the short and medium term despite the challenging environment in which are all operating”.
Ben Kimball, director of regional business development at ThinCats, said: “Todd & Cue are a very well-respected member of the insurance community in the North East, and it has been a pleasure to work with the management team.
“We are delighted to have been able to support them with this package and I am sure that this will help them achieve their growth plans.”
Abu Ali, partner at Williams Ali Corporate Finance, added: “It’s been a pleasure to work with Todd & Cue and Thincats on this transaction.
“Mark and the Todd & Cue team continue to build upon a great business and Thincats have been able to support with a creative solution that allows the organisation to continue to grow.”
Ben Slack and Andrew Curtis of Clarion provided legal advice to Thin Cats.
