North East pharma firm expands global presence with US facility
A North East-based pharmaceutical company is set to grow its international footprint with the expansion of a new US facility.
Sterling Pharma Solutions has announced the acquisition of a facility in Germantown in Wisconsin as part of its ongoing growth strategy.
Established in the North East since 1969, Sterling has added over 200 employees at its Cramlington facility over the last three years.
Kevin Cook, CEO of Sterling Pharma Solutions, commented: “We’re delighted to announce the acquisition of a second facility in the US. This is the latest step of our strategic growth plans and will ensure we continue to provide a strong offering to our global customer base.
“The site’s capabilities complement our current service offering and will allow us to continue to provide first-class service to our customers.
“We remain committed to the North-East and will continue to invest in our headquarters in Cramlington, as well as explore future opportunities to meet our ambitious growth targets. We’re excited to welcome the Germantown team into the Sterling family.”
