Trethowans welcomes new senior associate to residential property team

Leading Salisbury law firm, Trethowans, has appointed a new senior associate to its growing residential property team.

Denise Owen, who has over 20 years’ experience in all types of residential property transactions, will advise clients on property sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity and lease extensions.

Throughout her career Denise has built up a strong reputation within the Wiltshire and Dorset markets, acting on behalf of a variety of clients ranging from first time buyers to high net worth individuals and trust companies.

“I’m so pleased to have joined the team at Trethowans”, said Denise. “I have worked with the firm on the other side of client transactions on numerous occasions in the past and have always been impressed by the depth of knowledge and level of client service it provides.

“The team has welcomed me with open arms and I’m already relishing the challenges and opportunities provided by my new role.”

Headed up by the highly respected and experienced partner Tim Higham, Trethowans’ residential property team is one of the largest in the South.

Tim commented: “It’s great to have Denise on board and we have no doubt that her expertise will add great value and capacity to the service that we provide.

“This has been a challenging year for those looking to move home, but the stamp duty holiday and the pent-up lockdown demand has now caused somewhat of a residential property boom.

“Whatever the circumstances, we pride ourselves on our ability to remove the stress when helping clients through what should be one of the most exciting times in their lives.”

Trethowans has been offering legal services to businesses and individuals in the south for over 150 years with offices in Southampton, Salisbury, Poole, Bournemouth and Winchester.
