Expansion in the bag for accessories retailer with launch of York store

A leather goods manufacturer is set to expand its reach with the opening of a new store in the centre of York.

Leather satchel specialist Zatchels has secured space in the heart of the city for its newest outlet.

Founded in 2011, Zatchels specialises in a range of leather bags and accessories, including the design of a modern version of the satchel.

Property firm Carter Jonas has announced that the accessories brand has taken a unit at 50 Stonegate as part of its ongoing growth.

Tammy Hullis, store manager at Zatchels, commented: “We are delighted to be able to open our new shop in York during what has been a very difficult time for the retailing sector.

“We have immense confidence in our high-quality leather products and look forward to welcoming new and returning customers.”
