Artisan drinks take pride of place at North East pub
TWO POPULAR NORTH EAST pubs have become the latest stockists of an Alnwick-based premium mixer brand whose products are sold around the world.
In just over two years The Artisan Drinks Company has built itself a huge international base for its range of seven premium mixers, all made with 100 per cent natural ingredients and recognised for its distinctive branding and unique flavour combinations.
The company has steadily built its export market and can be found in upmarket bars and pubs in Australia, Denmark, France, Malta, Italy and The Netherlands.
But its latest win is closer to home – having struck a deal to be stocked by the Northumberland Pub Company in its venues - The Blackbird, at Ponteland and The Northumberland Arms, at Felton.
Stuart Young, of the Northumberland Pub Co, is confident they will be a huge hit with customers.
“We are always on the lookout for new brands to showcase in the venues and the team at Artisan Drinks have created a really exceptional range of products,” said Stuart.
“It’s brilliant to be working with a North East company which is also having such great success on a national and international scale.
“The brand’s colourful artwork really makes them stand out from the crowd and the unique flavour combinations and great taste will make Artisan really appealing - our bar teams are really excited about being able to offer them.”
Steve Cooper, founder and CEO of The Artisan Drinks Company, said he was also delighted “to have The Northumberland Arms and the Blackbird stocking our mixers.”
“It’s so important now to have a premium mixer that can complement premium spirits as it takes the taste to the next level,” he said.
“And now that’s what customers at both of these great venues can enjoy – with the added bonus that they are close to home.”
