Growth is child’s play for children’s bedroom specialist with 72% revenue increase
A Yorkshire-based children’s bedroom specialist has experienced a ‘record breaking’ six months of sales during A2 and Q3 of this year.
Online children’s bedroom retailer Room to Grow has reported a 72 per cent increase in revenue between April and September, compared to the same period in 2019.
The firm, which specialises in bedroom furniture specifically for children, achieved ‘record breaking’ performance in the months from May to August, with the highest sales since the company began trading online in 2012.
Anne Davies, owner of Room to Grow, commented: “It has been a challenging year for businesses so to have experienced such growth over the last six months has been fantastic. With people spending more time at home, the industry has seen an upward trend for online shopping.
“This move to buy online shows no signs of slowing down, which is why we knew that investing astutely and confidently in our digital strategy was the right thing to do.
“Now even more than ever a child’s bedroom is so much more than just a place to sleep, it is their own space to develop, learn and grow, and we hope we have encouraged the sense of adventure, fun and play that our brand is known for.”
