Skurio to bring digital risk protection to legal firms worldwide
The world’s leading network of independent law firms, Lex Mundi has selected Skurio to deliver Digital Risk Protection to its member firms globally.
Over 150 of Lex Mundi’s member firms will have access to Skurio’s Digital Risk Protection platform as part of a wider programme which provides their member firms with introductions to state-of-the-art technology.
This will allow the member firms to protect their business-critical data by identifying cyber threats and detecting data leaks across their digital supply chains. Firms are then able to automatically search the surface, deep and Dark Web for their data and receive instant alerts if any is found and act quickly to prevent attacks.
Skurio’s CEO Jeremy Hendy said: “We are delighted to have been chosen by such a prestigious group as the solution to protect their member firms from digital risk. Lex Mundi member firms are pioneers in the legal world who take cybersecurity very seriously and are leading the way in ensuring their clients are protected. Adding Skurio to their portfolio allows Lex Mundi firms to extend their defences beyond their network perimeters, protecting their data wherever it lives.”
He adds, “The legal industry have always been a prime target for cyber criminals, due to the highly sensitive nature of the data they handle. A recent report found that in Q1 of 2020, 100% of the law firms studied had been targeted by attackers. Fortunately, the legal sector performs well compared to other industries in cybersecurity defences and adopting Digital Risk Protection is a natural next step to enhancing this.”
Gordon Vala-Webb, Senior Advisor of Technology and Innovation at Lex Mundi said: “We are very pleased to work with Skurio to provide this best in class Digital Risk Protection solution to our members.”
