West Yorkshire development agency set for growth with five-figure funding
A development agency based in West Yorkshire has secured five-figure funding to expand operations.
6B has secured £11k from Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP)’s digital investment fund #Grow.
The grant will be used to extend the firm’s team with the appointment of at least one senior developer, with additional funds to be used to develop the agency’s bespoke CRM product Dashboard.
Managing director of 6B, Paul Brown, commented: “The £11k we have secured from the LEP’s #Grow Fund means that we can pull forward our plans. We have expanded our team and our services over the years, but this will allow us to invest and focus on our Dashboard product too.
“This couldn’t have come at a better time for us as we continue to win new and more complicated briefs for both private and public sector organisations. Knowing we can appoint a further developer will provide us with the resource to meet with the needs of an increasing number of clients and projects.
“Despite being a challenging year in many ways, we have expanded our team and our portfolio of clients. We hope that with this injection of funds, we can continue to share the good news and positive steps we are taking.”
Roger Marsh OBE DL, chair of Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (the LEP) and NP11 added: “Helping individual businesses take their next step is crucial to the broader growth across Leeds City Region, as we work towards an inclusive economic recovery.
“We remain focussed on our support of this sector, and the lifecycle of business growth, which enables job creation and maintains the talent pipeline.”
