Communications agency set for expansion with new Whitechapel HQ

A marketing and communications agency has announced a “bold move” from its London Bridge base to a new headquarters in central London.

Four Communications Group (Four) is set to become the first tenant of newly developed building The Hickman in Whitechapel.

The company, which specialises in integrated marketing and communications across a range of sectors, has taken 17,700 sq ft of office space over the top three floors of the seven floor building, as well as an additional 5,000 sq ft of outside terrace space.

Four’s new headquarters will feature bookable desks, co-working areas and project rooms, flexible meeting and seminar rooms, an edit suite and a social area called The Fourum - complete with its own bar, along with outside space for working and socialising.

Four’s group chief executive, Nan Williams, commented: “This is a pivotal moment for us and we’re glad to have secured the premium floors of this outstanding building along with the coveted outside terraces that come with it.

“We are taking nearly 20 per cent less space than we currently have so we are able to start cost savings early in 2021 which will be a crucial recovery year for our industry.”

The move was supported by Four’s current landlord Great Portland Estate (GPE), which is also the landlord of The Hickman.

Nan continued: “We would like to thank GPE for enabling us to make a seamless move to the new premises in a vibrant, diverse and up and coming area.”
