Newcastle pharma marketing firm grows over 75% with “surging” export demand
A pharmaceutical marketing agency headquartered in the North East is set to grow over 75 per cent in 2020 due to “surging” export demand.
Newcastle-headquartered ramarketing has seen an uplift in its growth this year due to an increased demand for pharmaceutical marketing service.
The design, content and integrated marketing agency, which has teams in Newcastle, Manchester, London, mainland Europe and across the US, has added 13 new recruits to the team in 2020.
In 2021 the firm plans to grow staff numbers by 50 per cent with the creation of a further 18 new jobs in Europe and the US.
Founder and global president at ramarketing, Raman Sehgal, commented: “This has been a very difficult year for all of us at a personal level and I am so very grateful that our business has managed to stay stable, retain all of our people and increasingly support clients in need during this period.
“Like many businesses, we’ve had to adapt our working conditions and we’ve worked very hard at supporting our team and keeping spirits up during the transition. The performance of the business is testament to the team’s resilience and determination to simply serve our clients.
“Our deep industry expertise in drug development has enabled us to grow quickly and internationally for several years now. Although we feared and planned for the worst like many after COVID-19 arrived, we were fortunately well placed to support many companies that operate in the life science space, especially those requiring COVID-19 communications.
“The economic outlook globally is pretty bleak at the moment so I’m very proud that we are managing to provide a note of optimism by continuing to invest, grow and create new job opportunities, especially in the North East.”
