Former Master Brewers site set for transformation as development plans progress

The site of the former Master Brewers in Hillingdon is set to become a new mixed-use scheme as plans move forward.

The site has been the subject of third-party requests to call in for determination by the Secretary of State, but it has been decided that the application for 514 homes can be determined at a local level by the Greater London Authority.

The Hillingdon Gardens project aims to transform the derelict former commercial site into a residentially-led mixed-use neighbourhood, providing 514 new homes.

In addition, the scheme will feature a network of pedestrianised areas, landscaped public squares and green spaces.

“We are pleased that the scheme has not been called in by the Secretary of State. We can now actively progress delivering the scheme, which is supportive of the government’s housebuilding agenda, delivering much needed affordable homes and revitalising a vacant site.

This will be an area of primary focus in the coming year and we are excited about the opportunities in this growing area of the business.”
