Rob Williams, Filippa Mudd and Henry Foreman, MMX Retail

MMX Retail has announced that three new members will be joining the retail and development team.

Rob Williams, Filippa Mudd and Henry Foreman have joined the consultancy from BNP Paribas Real Estate where they worked on a mix of institutional, developer and local authority owned high street, retail and leisure destinations.

David Justice, partner at MMX Retail, commented: “We are delighted to welcome such high calibre colleagues, as Rob and his team, to MMX. Their skills will combine well with the knowledge and experience of our existing team.”

Rob said: “Over the last few years I have worked closely with MMX on a number of major projects, so I’m delighted to be joining their wonderful team.

“I know first-hand the value of the advice that MMX provides for its clients and I hope that Filippa, Henry and I will be able to further add to that expert insight that the team offers.

Daniel Sale, Ziglu

Personal money app Electronic Money Institution has announced the appointment of Daniel Sale as marketing director.

Daniel brings experience as a senior marketer at fintech and financial services firms, driving growth in companies.

In his new role, Daniel will be focused on further building brand awareness, market presence, customer engagement and ultimately increasing the company’s base of users.

Daniel commented: “Ziglu is at the forefront of driving uptake of digital currencies, at the moment of their long-awaited breakthrough as a recognised asset class.

Rob MacAdam and Jo Guy, BusyLamp

Legal operations software provider BusyLamp has appointed new team members to its customer success and product development teams.

These appointments include the well-known legal tech specialist Rob MacAdam who joins BusyLamp as VP of product and Jo Guy as senior customer success manager.

Rob previously held the position of head of digital products for EMEA at Ashurst LLP, an international law firm.

Prior to this, he was VP corporate legal solutions at HighQ. He joins BusyLamp to oversee the development of the newly launched platform solution, Legal.Ops.Space.

Rob commented: “BusyLamp has a fantastic reputation in the corporate legal market.

“It’s an ambitious company with great leadership and an awesome team.

“In-house legal departments face ever growing challenges, and I’m delighted to be joining BusyLamp as VP of product to help tackle those challenges head on and enable our customers and users to work efficiently, collaboratively and transparently to deliver real value for their organisations.”

Jo Guy joins after more than 10 years with Lloyds Banking Group, and will focus on supporting BusyLamp customers in the UK and Ireland.

“From day one, I was impressed by the simplicity and clean look of the system, the can-do attitude and positive energy of all the team, and the roadmap for development. I’m really looking forward to being part of the onward journey.”

Phil Duffield, The Trade Desk

A global advertising technology leader has announced the appointment of Phil Duffield as vice president of the UK.

Phil will be responsible for leading The Trade Desk’s business and operations to help drive scale and growth within the United Kingdom.

He joins The Trade Desk from Adobe, where he held the role of managing director, leading the Ad Cloud business for Adobe across EMEA.

Philippa Snare, senior vice president of EMEA, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Phil as we look to scale our growth globally.

“His wealth of experience and knowledge of the UK advertising technology industry will be invaluable in supporting our continued growth in this key market.”

Julie Selman, Magnite

Independent advertising platform Magnite has announced the appointment of Julie Selman as its new UK managing director.

Julie brings with her more than 15 years’ experience working across the digital advertising industry, specialising in connected TV (CTV), programmatic, and digital media sales.

Joining from FreeWheel, a Comcast company, she most recently held the position of senior director and head of demand strategy UK and Northern Europe.

Stephen Wing, SVP head of EMEA at Magnite, commented: “Julie’s extensive experience leading commercial teams and driving growth on an international scale makes her a crucial asset.”

Julie added: “I am pleased to join Magnite at such a dynamic time. I am looking forward to working with the team to meet the complex needs of marketers and publishers and to realise the full potential of programmatic omnichannel advertising.”
