Wakefield industrial park approaches capacity with latest SME signing
An industrial park in West Yorkshire is almost at full capacity after its latest signing.
Green Lane Networkcentre in Featherstone in Wakefield is set to become the new home of roofing firm The Roof Shack.
Asset management specialist NSM agreed terms with the roofing product specialist for the three-year lease of Unit 8 at the park.
Comprising 1,581 sq ft, the new unit will be used to support the company’s ongoing growth of its trade and retail customer bases.
Situated off Boothroyd Way near the A655, the 30,691 sq ft site is already home to businesses such as I Care (GB), Emergency Medical Transports and Prestige Work Surfaces.
NSM associate director, Helen Gordon, commented: “Green Lane Networkcentre is a high-quality build that offers flexible space for SMEs that want to enjoy the transport links around Featherstone with easy access to the M62 and then onto the A1 and M1.
“We find when units do become available at Green Lane they don’t tend to be on the market for very long.”
