Automotive retailer completes new dealership in West Yorkshire hometown

A car retailer has unveiled its newest dealership in its hometown in West Yorkshire.

JCT600 has announced that it has completed work on its new Citroën dealership in Bradford.

Situated on Sticker Lane, the dealership will share premises with its sister brand Vauxhall, offering service, maintenance, repair and MOT testing services while lockdown restrictions are in place.

Once the current lockdown restrictions ease, the showroom will offer for viewing the brand’s full range of electric vehicles, small and family cars, family hatchbacks, SUVs and vans together with a display of 150 approved used vehicles.

Founded in 1946 as Brooklands Garage on Sticker Lane, family-owned business JCT600 operates 54 dealerships in Yorkshire, the North East, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire.

John Tordoff, chief executive of JCT600, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Citroën to the JCT600 family where it will sit nicely alongside our other Stellantis brands, Vauxhall and Peugeot, in our home town of Bradford.

“Citroën is a unique brand offering a very different range, but one which I’m sure our customers will enjoy.”

Eurig Druce, managing director, Citroën UK, added: “The Bradford site is our latest new showroom opening for Citroën UK.

“As part of our ‘Advance UK’ plan, we are introducing new sites across the country to improve our brand presence in 2021 as we continue our electrification offensive.

“We are excited to continue our work with JCT600 as they have a 75-year history as a trusted family brand.”
