London tech consultancy launches ‘club’ office in Amsterdam

A London-founded technology company has announced the launch of a new concept in the Netherlands as part of its European expansion.

AND Digital has launched its ‘club’ office in Amsterdam in a bid to expand its presence in Europe.

AND Digital is built upon a decentralised network of clubs, each comprising 80-100 people, offering digital transformation solutions and strategies.

The new Amsterdam club will enable AND Digital to extend its services across the Netherlands, and is set to create around 50 new jobs initially as part of its plans to expand across the Benelux region.

Paramjit Uppal, CEO and founder at AND Digital, commented: “Today’s an exciting moment for us and marks the first step in our European growth. AND Digital aims to hire the best minds and create collaborative environments with deep local insight via our club model, and Amsterdam provides the perfect blend of culture, technology, and skills for us to thrive.

“What we want is to expand our team of experts to support global companies, enabling them to build tech products faster and more efficiently, while also contributing to closing the digital skills gap – a gap that has only been exposed further by the pandemic.

“The European Commission’s focused initiatives underline the fact that the skills discrepancy is a major cause for concern, so we’re delighted to start this next chapter in Amsterdam to help organisations accelerate their digital capabilities.”

Jeroen Kleinhoven, global head of digital products at Evalueserve Inc, has been brought onboard to lead the new office. Jeroen added: “Never has there been a better time to focus on delivering digital products at scale, and I’m proud to be leading the charge in Amsterdam.

“In my experience, it takes more than technology for businesses to succeed today – that’s why so many digital transformation initiatives actually fail, because what you also need is great digital people.

“AND Digital’s ability to help companies address both – tech and people – is a powerful prospect. My mission will be to extend the fantastic work AND Digital does in the UK to the Benelux region and empower organisations to build innovative products for themselves and achieve impressive things in the process.”
