Nick Burrows, Blandy & Blandy

Law firm Blandy & Blandy has announced that Nick Burrows will assume the role of chairman from 1 April 2021.

Nick is a partner in the corporate & commercial team and is highly experienced in advising clients across the charity and education sectors. His expertise is recognised in both of the UK’s leading legal directories, Chambers UK and The Legal 500.

He joined the firm in 2002 and has previously served as one of Blandy & Blandy’s joint managing partners.

Holly Anderson and Zee Kazmi, MediaVision

Digital marketing agency MediaVision has announced that it is welcoming two new specialists to its team.

Holly Anderson is being appointed as the company’s strategic client lead, and Zee Kazmi is joining the team as SEO executive.

Holly, who has been working for in-house e-commerce and marketing teams within fashion, beauty and tech for over six years, has a wealth of experience that sees her move into client services as a natural progression.

As a strategic client lead, Holly brings a strong knowledge across all platforms and an in depth understanding of the creative side of retail, from introducing new marketing channels to producing digital marketing strategies.

Zee also joins with a wealth of experience, holding a nano degree within digital marketing, and has been driving SEO campaigns for Italian fashion and beauty retail outlets.

Dominique Hollins, Cloudera

Enterprise data cloud company Cloudera has announced the appointment of Dominique Hollins to the newly created role of director of culture and inclusion.

Dominique brings more than a decade of experience to her role and joins Cloudera having established her own DE&I consultancy, WĒ360, and forging new ground in companies such as eBay and Google.

In her new role, Dominique will spearhead Cloudera’s commitment to addressing DE&I initiatives and will report into Sarah Shin, Chief Diversity Officer.

Sarah Shin, chief diversity officer, commented: “As a leadership team we are passionate about creating an inclusive and representative workplace for all.

“We’ve made great progress in the last year, but there is still much that we want to accomplish. Dominique will be invaluable as we enter the next phase of our journey.”

Trevor Hall, Gardner Leader

Law firm Gardner Leader has appointed a new finance director to support the firm during its sustained growth.

Trevor Hall, previously at Deloitte, will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s business performance and its financial trajectory.

Having qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte in 2005 and a member of the ICAEW (The Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales), Trevor has gained extensive finance experience with Siemens, Man Group and Red Bee Media.

As part of his 17 years in the industry, Trevor moved to Dubai in 2013 where he became the finance director for Deloitte Advisory for the whole Middle East region.

After returning home to the UK in November 2018, Trevor worked in advisory until January 2021 when he accepted a role at Gardner Leader.

Trevor said: “I’m thrilled to have joined one of the most forward-thinking, friendly and client-focused law firms in the country.

“I have received a warm welcome from everyone in the firm, and I’m very much looking forward to being part of its journey as Gardner Leader continues to expand its service offering.”

Vasos Ptohopoulos, Shanly Homes

Developer Shanly Homes has announced that it is welcoming Vasos Ptohopoulos as sales and marketing director to its Thames Valley region.

With almost 20 years’ experience in the residential property sector gained at Fairview New Homes and Barratt Developments Vasos will be key in driving the region forward.
