UK’s first Amazon Fresh store launches in West London retail destination
Amazon has opened its first UK Amazon Fresh grocery store in a West London shopping centre.
The retail giant has announced the launch of its first Amazon Fresh store in the UK at Ealing Broadway.
Amazon Fresh will join brands such as Primark, Marks & Spencer, JD Sports, Decathlon, H&M and Boots at the 400,000 sq ft retail destination, which is one of British Land’s mixed-use London assets.
The site also comprises 130,000 sq ft of office space, which is home to a range of occupiers including Carallon, Insights Software and British Land’s flexible workspace brand Storey.
Darren Richards, head of real estate at British Land, commented: “We are thrilled to welcome the UK’s first Amazon Fresh store to Ealing Broadway.
“Ealing already benefits from fantastic transport infrastructure and is set to undergo significant transformation with the opening of Crossrail and £1 billion of wider investment that will continue to enhance its appeal.”
