Laura Chisholm, Vida Creative

Vida Creative has announced that it has appointed Laura Chisholm as its new account manager.

Laura has previously held public relations executive and social media manager positions.

Ellen Hedley, co-founder of Vida Creative, commented: “We’re proud to have continued with our plans to grow despite another national lockdown.

“Laura joins us at a very exciting time, we’ve grown from operating as a duo, to a team of seven.

Andrew Slater, Summers-Inman

Construction and property consultancy Summers-Inman has announced the appointment of a new associate director.

Andrew Slater joins Summers-Inman as health, safety and environmental lead after two decades spent within the construction industry holding similar roles at other companies.

In his new role, Andrew, will act as head of health and safety/principal design team lead and will deliver construction, health, safety, environmental and safety risk management advice to the firm’s clients.

Andrew said: “I am delighted to be joining the team at Summers-Inman and contribute to the company’s ongoing success.

“The firm has an excellent reputation within the industry with a proud history of providing key support on some fantastic schemes, both on a regional and national basis.

“I am especially looking forward to developing the quality, safety, health and environment team and systems to further improve our service offering to our clients.”

Gillian Hall, Mediaworks

Digital marketing agency Mediaworks has announced that Gillian Hall has been selected as its new non-executive chair.

Gillian, the former senior partner and deals specialist at Watson Burton, will spearhead Mediaworks’ growth plans.

She also holds non-executive positions with the Port of Blyth and the North East Local Enterprise Partnership where she chairs the Innovation Board.

Gillian commented: “It’s the perfect time for me to join Mediaworks. Its already a huge success story for the North East and with the launch of its new identity, is embarking on an exciting upwards trajectory. I’d like to think I can help the business navigate the journey ahead.”

Josh Brown, Silverstone Building Consultancy

Silverstone Building Consultancy has announced that it has appointed Josh Brown as its new senior chartered building surveyor.

Josh, who graduated from Northumbria University with a degree in Building Surveying in 2014, brings with him six years of building surveying experience from his former role at Hollis.

He commented: “I am delighted to have secured a job at Silverstone, the firm is highly regarded with a solid reputation and works with a broad range of clients on some exciting and high profile schemes.

“I am really looking forward to getting involved in their ongoing projects and see this as a great opportunity to develop my career.”

Silverstone has also promoted Phillip Bone to senior associate and Michael Coulthard to associate building surveyor.
