CybelAngel announces UK expansion
Cybersecurity firm CybelAngel has announced its UK expansion which includes a five-fold investment increase, a series of new hires as well as a new UK office.
According to the company, the UK is integral to the organisation’s ambitious growth plans and its investment in the local economy shows its commitment to supporting this regional market, increasing its customer base, as well as developing strong relationships with channel partners.
The expansion comes at a time when organisations face heightened levels of cyber security risks and malicious attacks.
CybelAngel’s decision to expand in the UK follows a series of growth milestones and new additions to its portfolio less than a year after the company’s $51 million total funding.
“We view the UK as a gateway to expansion, offering significant opportunities for us to build on our existing customer base in the region. With a strong and growing team, we are well positioned to deliver on our ambitions and drive new sales opportunities at a time when organisations are facing increasing security challenges,” said Rory Stern, MD UK, CybelAngel. “Customers place their trust in us to protect their employees, operations and brands. We are looking forward to working with new customers and partners and with the plans that we have for our UK expansion we are excited for what 2021 holds.”
To support its rapid UK expansion, CybelAngel is establishing a UK office base to better serve customers in the region.
“CybelAngel are our eyes and ears outside of the firm. They help cover blind spots such as IoT Devices or Shadow IT that we wouldn’t otherwise have visibility of and assist us in augmenting the security team’s work.” said Christian Toon, CISO, Pinsent Masons. “Our mission is to safeguard the firm through transparency, education and trust. CybelAngel is integral to the latter, where we can measure trustworthiness through the supply chain, as one example. This, coupled with the additional visibility of breached credentials and data, ensures we have multiple sources of checks and balances against known credentials and data out in the wild.”
