Tech consultancy launches Newcastle city centre base ahead of international expansion
A North East technology consultancy has announced the launch of its first UK office as well as plans for expansion in North America.
Set up a year ago today (April 8), Test Driven Solutions (TDS) is set to move into new headquarters on Dean Street in the centre of Newcastle.
Established last year by tech consultant Sam Clark, TDS - which specialises in software development as well as helping to upskill customer workforces - has grown to a team of 28 in 12 months.
The firm, which has operated remotely since its inception, has secured clients in a range of sectors including financial services, healthcare, renewables, government and manufacturing.
Following the growth of its first year, TDS plans to launch a new office in Canada as well as hiring more staff for its new Newcastle base.
Sam Clark, TDS founder, commented: “I started the business to provide something different to other consultancies and add more value. We’ve brought people in who are able to deliver, and although there was a risk setting up, it was the best industry to set up in.”
“We have a proven track record of working remotely, and as a result we have been able to deliver internationally during the pandemic.”
“It’s great that we’ve been able to get keys to our office in our first year, especially in central Newcastle which is perfect. Hopefully the town will be buzzing as businesses open back up.”
