Centrick handed keys to two New Homes Instructions

The West Midlands’ leading property expert, Centrick, has successfully secured two new build development instructions: Home Farm Barns and Callowside Gardens. These latest appointments sees Centrick further expand its new homes property portfolio within the region, following a suite of successes during recent months.

Ideally situated in rural Hampton-in-Arden, Home Farm Barns comprises of 11 luxurious dwellings and boasts convenient transport links for commuters into the likes of Birmingham, London and Manchester via both motorway and rail connections and has several village amenities right on its doorstep. Commenting on the new instruction, Christiana Plati, Centrick’s New Homes Manager, explains:

“During the past 12 months, we’ve noticed a definitive shift in commuters looking to move further out from larger cities such as Birmingham and London. Inevitably, this spike in demand correlates with the rise in home working due to the pandemic and people spending more time at home than ever before: all of which parallels perfectly with our plans to continue expanding our new homes portfolio.

Having sold four of the properties to date, Home Farm Barns is already proving extremely popular within the local market: due to high interest, we expect the remaining sites to sell quickly, too! The development offers buyers the perfect blend of luxury living and a safe, quiet environment that is perfect for both families and couples alike.“

After investing in a dedicated New Homes team during 2020, Centrick has moved from strength to strength; unlocking 17 New Home instructions during the past 18 months. As well as Home Farm Barns, the team have most recently been instructed to oversee the Callowside Gardens development that is situated in the heart of Rubery.

The site features a collection of 9 new dwellings developed by renowned local builders Damson Homes; comprising of seven two-bedroom houses and two one-bedroom apartments, the development is closely located to local transport links into Birmingham city centre and a range of local amenities.

With prices starting from £220,000 and the government-backed Help to Buy scheme available for prospective owners, all plots in the development are set to be ready to move in to during the latter half of this year and feature Damson Homes’ signature, award-winning finish.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Damson Homes yet again on this new development in Rubery. After our recent success selling out Regent House in Shirley, we know Damson’s fantastic product incredibly well and our customers know that they are buying a quality home at an affordable price. Having already sold three of the properties, we expect the remaining homes to sell quickly, especially when factoring in the extension of the stamp duty holiday, and look forward to our continued relationship with the team at Damson Homes over the coming months,” added Christiana.
