Specialist chicken restaurant opens up doors at first London venue
A roast chicken specialist has announced that it has opened its first central London restaurant.
Sidechick, in Marylebone, has opened on James Street and focuses on chicken-based meals.
The restaurant will seat 50 indoor covers and 20 outdoors, and is split over two floors, describing itself as “part living room, part family kitchen table and part clubhouse”.
It will be headed up by Luke Frankie, the former head chef at The Drapers Arms and former sous chef at Spring.
Joe Grossmann, founder of Sidechick, commented: “Couldn’t be more excited to open Sidechick James St.
“It has been a long time coming … we’ve been working tirelessly from the design to the menu to create a space and offering that we want people to cherish, crave and simply come and have an amazing experience.
“The menu has evolved from the food to the drinks a great deal so just bang up excited to express what the vision for Sidechick in full effect has been all along…”
