Event tech firm secures East London site with six-figure HSBC UK support
A London-based IT and event technology company has secured six-figure funding from HSBC UK to secure a new site.
Event tech firm One World Rental has secured a six-figure commercial mortgage from HSBC UK to buy a 10,000 sq ft site in Woodford.
One World Rental provides event rental technology and technical event services to support a range of events, from corporate conferences to festivals, including IT equipment, software installation and app building, as well as event staffing and Wi-Fi installation.
The purchase of the multi-use premises has enabled the company to save money on rental costs and provide additional financial security to support the influx of summer events.
Nazia Khan, director at One World Rental UK, commented: “Despite the difficulties that have faced the events industry, HSBC UK trusted and believed in our business model.
“The bank’s financial support has given us a welcome boost in uncertain times and will underpin our global growth strategy as our industry continues to reopen.”
Sarah Emberson, regional director of East London Business Banking for HSBC UK, added: “Whilst it has been a difficult period for the events industry, One World Rental has proved agile, adapting to the needs of both new and existing customers.
“We are delighted to back the business and help it realise its expansion plans during what promises to be a busy summer ahead.”
