Dorset businessman strikes gold for customer satisfaction
Oven valeting firm Ovenu Dorset East has received the highest possible honour in the inaugural Trustist awards which recognises outstanding customer service.
The business, run by Rob Shand and supported by Jon Burden, picked up a gold award after attracting a clean sweep of almost 300 maximum five-star reviews on the online customer ratings platform.
For Rob, who established the business in 2006, the accolade reflects his own high standards and attention to detail.
He said: “The business is founded on delivering a great service and there is no higher praise than from those who matter most, my clients.
“It’s an honour that this has been recognised by Trustist in its Top Performing Franchisee category, and I’m proud to have received a gold rating.”
Before joining Ovenu, Rob previously worked as a warehouse manager.
He added: “I’d really like to say a big thank you to my clients because without their positive feedback, I wouldn’t have won this award.”
Nigel Apperley, chief executive of Trustist, said: “It is important to recognise that individual franchisees like Rob play a huge part in building a good reputation for an overall brand.”
Rik Hellewell, the founder and managing director of Ovenu, added: “Customer satisfaction is of paramount importance.
“These awards are testament to the fact that Rob provides a service that people trust, and I’m proud of the top-class work and excellent customer service he delivers on a daily basis. These awards are confirmation of that.”
Ovenu Dorset East continues to accept bookings at its discretion, with the strict stipulation that both parties observe the two-metre social distancing rule, along with guidelines on hygiene and cleanliness.
