Former North Yorkshire country club-turned-care home to be given new lease of life
A Yorkshire care home that used to be a country club and restaurant is being brought to market.
Property specialist CBRE has announced that it is marketing Lake and Orchard Care Home near Selby in North Yorkshire.
Originally a country club and restaurant, Lake and Orchard Care Home was converted into a care home in 1994.
Situated on the south side of Riccall Lane between the villages of Kelfield and Riccall, the property comprises 95 bedrooms in total split into two parts (Lake and Orchard) with an interconnecting link.
Shaun Skidmore, senior director for CBRE’s Northern Operational Real Estate team, commented: “We are pleased to bring to market this purpose built, adjoined care home facility offering a variety of options to potential buyers and developers.
“The property offers substantial residential facilities and is located in an attractive, rural location with good connections to the surrounding cities providing the opportunity for residential, retail or leisure use in the future subject to planning.”
