Oxfordshire businessman Mike sparkles with diamond customer service award
Almost three years after launching oven valeting service Ovenu Bicester, Mike Gambrill has been recognised with a diamond award for outstanding customer service.
The accolade from online reviews platform Trustist represents a significant achievement for Mike, who previously spent more than 20 years as store and area manager for Pets at Home.
The 43-year-old, from Souldern, said: “I’d always wanted to become my own boss and develop a successful business, so this award is the icing on the cake.
“I’m dedicated to delivering a great service and there is no higher praise than glowing testimonials from the people that matter most, our clients.
“It’s an honour to be recognised by Trustist in its Top Performing Franchisee category, and we’re proud to receive a diamond rating.”
“I’d like to say a big thank you to our clients because without their positive feedback, Ovenu Bicester wouldn’t have won such an award.”
Nigel Apperley, chief executive of online reviews platform Trustist, said: “It is important to recognise that individual franchisees like Mike play a huge part in building a good reputation for an overall brand.”
Rik Hellewell, the founder and managing director of Ovenu, added: “These awards are testament to the fact that Mike provides a quality service that people trust. This award is confirmation of that.”
Ovenu Bicester continues to accept bookings at its discretion, with the strict stipulation that both parties observe a two-metre social distancing rule, along with guidelines on hygiene and cleanliness.
As well as Bicester, the business covers Banbury, Weston-on-the-Green, Marsh Gibbon, Rousham, Ardley and surrounding areas.
