Yorkshire digital growth expert creates jobs with doubled office space
A Yorkshire digital growth expert is due to double its office space and create new jobs in the region.
The SEO works is doubling its office space in Sheffield city centre after signing a lease on more than 8,000 square feet of office space at Fountain Precinct – an eight-storey building which has recently undergone a £3.5m refurbishment.
The team, which was recently voted ‘SEO Agency of the Year’ at the UK Digital Growth Awards, will move from its current base on Scotland Street to its new home which has open plan offices, meeting rooms, and break-out areas for its growing team.
Ben Foster, The SEO Works managing director, said: “This is an exciting move for us. We had outgrown our current space, having hired 18 staff in the last six months, and have further plans to recruit more this year.”
He continued: “Having seen rapid growth, award wins, and an increasing status within the industry, we wanted a flagship office that matched the agency we have become.”
Despite moving into the new office, The SEO Works offers a hybrid working style. However, Ben still sees the office as an important part of the company.
He finished by saying: “It is crucial to our culture, how staff work and where ideas are born, better developed and delivered. The new office represents a centre for collaboration and our culture.”
In addition to the new office, The SEO Works hopes to open an apprentice academy by the end of the year with the aim of recruiting ten apprentices across its departments.
