Mark Crow, Sanderson Weatherall

Property and asset consultancy firm Sanderson Weatherall have recently announced the appointment of Mark Crow, a machinery and business asset specialist who has joined their market leading team as a partner in London.

Mark brings with him over 12 years’ experience providing machinery and business asset valuation and disposal services for a variety of clients working across many different sectors.

Having originally started his career at Sanderson Weatherall, Mark has spent the last five and a half years working in KPMG’s valuation team, managing a team of specialist tangible asset valuers, providing valuations for financial reporting purposes, supporting clients on some of the most high profile public transactions in recent years.

Mark said: “Having previously worked in Sanderson Weatherall’s Manchester Office, I was delighted to be the offered the opportunity to return.

“The challenge of developing a service line in the London market is one that really appealed to me.

“Having previously worked at Sanderson Weatherall, I knew the culture of the business is one which is an extremely good fit for me.

“I’m extremely excited by this opportunity and the challenge it presents.”

Les Reed, MiMentor

Former Charlton Athletic manager Les Reed has been announced as a consultant to MiMentor, the online learning platform for football coaches.

In his role, Les will help support the development of the MiMentor platform and coach education programmes, as well as promoting the brand among football clubs across the globe.

Les has managerial experience at the highest level, having been manager at then Premier League side Charlton Athletic during the 2006/2007 season. He was also assistant manager at the club under Alan Curbishley between 1995-1998, helping the club gain promotion to the Premier League in the 1998 playoffs.

More recently, Les was Vice Chairman – Football Strategy and Executive Director of Football at Southampton between 2010 and 2018, during which the club rose from League One to a peak of 7th in the Premier League. He then took on the position of Technical Director at the Football Association in 2019, and was appointed as Strategic Football Advisor to the Board at Wrexham AFC in June 2021.

“MiMentor will bring the ability to deliver high level learning experiences to millions. This makes it an incredibly exciting project for me and why I am going to enjoy being involved.

Joe Jordan, Born Social

Social media agency Born Social has announced the appointment of Joe Jordan as its new creative strategist.

Joe joins Born Social from Amsterdam based media company, Dept Agency, where he held the role of senior creative, leading creative work for global brands including: Netflix, JBL, Accell Group and Uber/Uber Eats.

Born Social’s executive creative director and partner, Paddy Smith, commented: “We’re super excited to have Joe join the team. He brings some excellent experience and heavyweight creativity to the table. I can’t wait to see what he can do.”
