A UK manufacturer of caravans and campervans has announced plans to create hundreds of North East jobs with a multi-million pound investment.

Erwin Hymer is set to create over 200 jobs at its County Durham manufacturing facility as part of a £15m investment.

The UK manufacturing plant of Erwin Hymer Group, home of the brands Elddis, Compass, Xplore and Buccaneer, is currently undergoing investment into its land, factory, and machinery as part of a wider transformation plan.

The group has partnered with North East-headquartered recruitment process outsourcing business greenbean to create the new roles.
