Italian eatery brings flavour of the Mediterranean to Covent Garden

An Italian restaurant brand has chosen the heart of London as the location for its debut UK site.

Longmartin Properties Ltd, a joint venture between Shaftesbury and the Mercers’ Company, has announced that miscusi has selected The Yards in Covent Garden, for its debut UK location and its first restaurant outside of Italy.

The brand has signed for a 4,190 sq ft unit at 23 Slingsby Place - the first phase of its international development across Europe.

Established in Milan in 2017, miscusi specialises in authentic Italian cuisine using traditional pasta recipes.

Alberto Cartasegna, miscusi CEO, commented: “After such difficult times, it is with a strong sense of responsibility that we bring our product, people and vibes to London. A city I lived in and loved from 18 years-old, when I took my first steps as a chef and a waiter.
