Leeds music and events firm creates jobs and increases client base

Despite a challenging 18 months for the events and festivals industry a Leeds-based firm celebrates three years of operation with client and workforce expansion.

Over summer 2021, Hanglands has gained clients including North Yorkshire’s Deer Shed Festival, UK vinyl pressing plant Press On, Leeds street food pioneers Manjit’s Kitchen and folk duo Jacob & Drinkwater.

The agency have also increased their photography and video production capabilities with two new hires.

The company also delivered several exciting projects including ‘The Trail For Hope’ art trail in Leeds for Thought Bubble Festival and Leeds BID.

Hanglands director Harry Ridgway said: “To come out of such a tough time for all of the industries we work with in such good shape is a testament to how hard everyone has worked over the last 18 months.

“This year especially we’ve taken on some brilliant work and I’m incredibly proud of how we have adapted as a business to handle this increase.

“Sam has been a key part of the growth of the business and Jasmine is a fantastic and creative addition to the team - I can’t wait to see where we can take Hanglands next, together.”
